Parents and Family Members are encouraged to join our College staff for their own orientation to the College. During this session, they will find out about the services available to support students and also have the opportunity to have questions answered.
Your Orientation is just the beginning! Attending Welcome Week is integral to your success as a student, and the Welcome Week activities are designed to help you “get connected” to Tompkins Cortland.
DegreeWorks is a degree audit team used by SUNY schools. It allows students and advisors to review progress toward graduation. DegreeWorks helps students understand their journey to graduation.
Each Full-time student is assigned to a faculty member for academic advisement, and usually stays with the same advisor until graduation unless the student changes degree programs. Part-time students are usually advised through Student Success.
CollegeNow understands that it may sometimes be difficult to attend our conference day in August. For that reason, we accept other forms of professional development to meet the program’s requirement.
As a student taking a CollegeNow Online course, you are required to work with a mentor at your high school. Your mentor will support you in your transition to college-level coursework in the online environment.
CollegeNow offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credit through online courses, the same courses offered to part-time and full-time Tompkins Cortland students.
