Julianna Mistlebauer, Tompkins Cortland Community College Class of 2009, has won the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Contribution from the New York Community College Trustees (NYCCT). Mistlebauer was presented the award at the NYCCT annual meeting in Saratoga Springs.

The NYCCT represents the appointed board members who govern the 30 community colleges in the State University of New York (SUNY) system. The organization presents the Distinguished Alumni Award annually to someone who has reached the pinnacle of one's professional career or has achieved great success in one's field of study.

Mistlebauer was recognized for her steadfast support of TC3 and for vocalizing her support for community colleges on social media, in her personal life, and in her professional work. After graduating from TC3 with a graphic design degree, Mistlebauer continued on to the Rochester Institute of Technology. She studied in France for five years after RIT before returning to the region and founding her own agency, True Creative Design and Marketing. Her agency, now with offices in Ithaca and Rochester, has supported hundreds of businesses and organizations through the years.
