The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for creating, producing, and delivering digital marketing and communications content to engage students, advance the College’s brand, and support college enrollment and retention goals. The Specialist is a member of the Enrollment Management team to ensure services are aligned with college strategies and goals. The Specialist plays a key role in managing and promoting the brand of the College and in supporting student enrollment and retention.

$60,706-$91,058 Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Clinical Counselors employed in the Department of Health and Wellness provide vital mental health services to residential and commuter students. Clinical Counselors are responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, brief treatment, consultation, crisis intervention, and referral of students in the support of academic success and retention in accordance with the College’s mission and values. The Department of Health and Wellness emphasizes mental health outreach and interventions with students who identify from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups, including but not limited to first generation students, students of color, non-traditional age students, students with disabilities, and international students. Adjunct Clinical Counselors provide short-term therapy/counseling services to meet specific student client needs including mental health assessments and therapy sessions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related clinical counseling field and 3 years of related experience. NY State licensure required.
Experience working with issues encountered in late adolescence, including new onset psychological symptoms/diagnoses, trauma issues, identity, transgender identity, men’s issues, sexual trauma, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. Multicultural competency in working with students of color, students from all economic classes, first generation students, LGBTQ students, and international students.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in higher education. Expertise in short-term treatment, including brief psychotherapy, stabilization and referral of serious mental illness, suicide assessment, and crisis intervention. Competency in one or more of the following areas: diversity and multicultural issues, suicidality, eating disorders, substance abuse, and sexual assault trauma. Instruct CONT260 – Hydraulics and Hydrology — This course is an introduction to hydraulics and hydrology with applications in civil engineering technology. The first part of the course covers the principles of fluid mechanics, focusing on water as the fluid. Applications such as pressures on conduits and submerged surfaces, flow in pipes and open channels, and flow measurement techniques are explored from study of hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, and open channels hydraulics. The second part of the course covers the study of fundamental hydrology and its application to perform runoff calculations using the rational method to determine peak discharges for storm sewer design.

Students acquire an understanding of the basic concepts, rules, and principles, as well as some of the basic practical applications that form the foundation of family and domestic relations law. Topics include terminology, courts, matrimonial, divorce, property distribution, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, child protection, adoption, paternity, domestic violence, juvenile delinquency, and other relevant topics. In particular, students become familiar with common pleadings and documents a paralegal may assist in preparing. They acquire an understanding of relevant laws, especially the New York Family Court Act and New York Domestic Relations Law. In addition, students develop their understanding of courts and procedures, and work to strengthen their research, writing, and drafting skills.

The drafting of wills and trusts and the administration of estates are a unique combination of art and science. Artistically speaking, the creative use of legal technology and techniques provides a vehicle for a client to literally speak from the grave and dictate control over his or her assets after death. At the same time, the detailed practice and procedural requirements of state and federal statutes give a scientific atmosphere in which the estate practitioner must operate.

COLTIVARE OPPORTUNITIES
Coltivare, the Tompkins Cortland Community College Culinary Center, is a 17,000 square foot space at 235 Cayuga St. in downtown Ithaca. The site contains a 110-seat restaurant, bar, student kitchen lab, wine tasting lab and event space to accommodate up to 200 guests. Coltivare houses two academic degree programs: Culinary Arts and Wine Marketing. These facilities include a public restaurant with 110 seats, event space for up to 200 guests, a demo/wine amphitheater and a Culinary Lab for student and community learning. The culinary center provides opportunities for students to explore and be trained in a wide range of careers in the food and beverage industry.
In addition to the Culinary Center in downtown Ithaca, the Farm to Bistro project includes a working organic farm on property adjacent to the College’s Dryden campus for students in the Sustainable Farming and Food Systems program. The Coordinator may also assist in the restaurant operation as needed for major events and special event weekends and holidays. Acts as an ambassador of Coltivare and being knowledgeable about Culinary Arts, Hospitality, and Wine Marketing academic programs and acts proactively to cross-market these programs to all guests. The work is performed in accordance with policies and objectives outlined by the Director of Operations with wide leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment in applying policy to specific cases.
