Kelley Poire Named Employee of the Month
Enrollment Services Specialist Kelley Poire has been named the Tompkins Cortland Community College Employee of the Month for May. The Employee of the Month program recognizes individuals who exemplify the values and mission of the College with their outstanding service and attitude. Nominations for the award are accepted from students, staff, or members of the community.
Poire has worked at TC3 for more than 35 years. She is described as an important “behind the scenes” employee that many people may not see on a day-to-day basis, but is nonetheless vital to the College’s success. She is always helpful and reliable, working in the admissions office with programs like PowerCampus and Slate, ensuring they are updated and running smoothly. Her dedication and attention to detail have made her a trusted coworker, and, for those fortunate enough to work closely with her, a valued friend.
As the Employee of the Month, Poire receives a gift certificate to a local business, a TC3 Employee of the Month tumbler, and exclusive use of the Employee of the Month parking spot.
Nominations can be made at any time for future Employees of the Month through an online nomination form.
