Damon Cochrane Named Employee of the Month
Senior Groundskeeper Damon Cochrane has been named the Tompkins Cortland Community College Employee of the Month for July.
Cochrane has worked at TC3 for more than eight years. He is praised for being dependable, pleasant, reliable, and conscientious. Declaring that the College is lucky to have him, his colleagues say Cochrane works hard, noting that during the winter he is often working during off hours and alone, plowing and salting to make sure that everyone is safe on the roads and sidewalks.
The Employee of the Month program recognizes individuals who exemplify the values and mission of the College with their outstanding service and attitude. Nominations for the award are accepted from students, staff, or members of the community.
As the Employee of the Month, Cochrane receives a gift certificate to a local business, a TC3 Employee of the Month tumbler, and exclusive use of the Employee of the Month parking spot.
Nominations can be made at any time for future Employees of the Month through an online nomination form.
