Lisa Ford

Background

Lisa teaches academic writing, screenwriting, and digital cinema courses.

Lisa's written work for film and television has earned recognition in the Austin Film Festival, the AMPAS Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship and the Disney/ABC Television Writing Program. She is the writer and director of short films selected to screen in the SAG Foundation Short Film Showcase, the New Filmmakers Screening Series at Anthology Film Archives in NYC, the Park City Film Music Festival, the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, the Louisville International Festival of Film, the Syracuse International Film Festival, the Williamsburg Independent Film Festival, Katra Film Series, The ReelheART International Film Festival, the Show Me Justice Film Festival, and the DC Independent Film Festival.
