James Williamson Named Employee of the Month
James Williamson, assistant director of athletics and recreation and head baseball coach, is the Tompkins Cortland Community College Employee of the Month for March.
Williamson is very active on campus, serving on several committees and connecting with faculty to ensure student-athletes are succeeding in the classroom. He is known for his willingness to help others and generally go above and beyond his job expectations. His enthusiasm for our students is evident in everything he does, including refining the game day operations to enhance the experience of our student-athletes and spectators. He has also been an energetic fundraiser for the baseball team, organizing several efforts that have helped raised significant resources for the program.
The Employee of the Month program recognizes individuals who exemplify the values and mission of the College with their outstanding service and attitude. Nominations for the award are accepted from students, staff, or members of the community.
As the Employee of the Month, Williamson receives a gift certificate to a local business, a TC3 Employee of the Month tumbler, and exclusive use of the Employee of the Month parking spot.
Nominations can be made at any time for future Employees of the Month through an online nomination form.
