Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Graduation

June 21, 2024

TC3’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program today graduated 11 students. The 3-week training prepares students for the New York State Certification exam and a job as a CNA. The ceremony was attended by their instructors Barbara Moose and Glenna McMinn, TC3 President Amy Kremenek, and the Director of Continuing Education and Workforce Partnerships Carrie Coates Whitmore.

All students in the program passed their final exams and are well prepared to take the New York State Certification Exam. The program teaches students infection control procedures, emergency procedures, basic nursing, and other skills in a condensed format that helps prepare them for the workforce.

Among the graduates was Samantha Evener, a third-generation CNA graduate. Both her mother, Carolyn Evener, and her grandmother, Diane Henry, attended the ceremony.
