Costs for Services

All students who have paid the student health fee are eligible for services provided by the Student Health Center. Practitioner services at the Tompkins Cortland Health Center are free of charge. Fees may be charged for medications, labs or procedures necessary during your visit. Other fees may apply. Costs for prescriptions are the responsibility of the student. Cost for services needed beyond the scope of care of Health Services will be the responsibility of the student.

There are a number of local physicians that accept insurance if referral is needed. Two hospitals, as well as urgent care centers, are available for emergency referrals.

No Show Policy

As of October 1, 2010 as approved by the Tompkins Cortland Faculty Student Association, the College Health Services will charge a ten dollar fee for all students who do not show for their scheduled appointments in the Student Health Center. Students will be put on the Stop list until the fee is paid. This does not apply to cancellations made twenty-four hours in advance.
