If you have an urgent medical need when the Student Health Center is closed you may go to any of the following:

Cayuga Medical Center Convenient Care

Staffed full time by board-certified physicians, registered nurses, and support personnel. They provide non-emergency medical care without an appointment. The centers are open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and are equipped to treat minor illness and injuries such as ear, throat, and respiratory infections; bronchitis; flu and virus; sprains and strains; minor burns and lacerations; puncture wounds and bites; removal of foreign objects such as splinters; and non-threatening eye injuries.

United Concierge Medicine

Telemedicine Doctors are available 24/7 for Tompkins Cortland students (except strictly online students). The hotline may be reached at 844-4-VIP DOC or 844-484-7362.

Students may also download the UCMnow app to contact an emergency medicine physician or physician assistant.

Prompt Care at Cortland Regional Medical Center

Specializes in the treatment of non-emergency illnesses and injuries, Prompt Care is a walk-in center which provides the type of healthcare one expects to receive from a family physician, but after hours or on the weekends, when most physician offices are not open.
